Professor Thomas Trantham

In training since 2008, I am now a Sensei in Judo under the USJA. I started training Jiu-jitsu in 2012 and fell in love with it. I am the head Judo instructor at our academy in Central, Louisiana.

I like grappling arts, because after training for years, it is inevitable that you will become mentally and physically more confident. Judo/Jiu-jitsu has improved my life is so many ways. Best of all, it's how I met my wife.

I am a Black Belt in Jiu Jitsu under Professor Kevin. I love teaching and training at Bayou Jiu-jitsu & Self Defense because of all the great training partners and vast experience of the instructors.

We have a friendly and skilled team of instuctors that will help push and guide you while still taking care of you. I'm on the mat every Tuesday and Thursday at our Central location teaching Judo. Teaching Judo is my passion!!! I hope you'll join us soon!
